Dr. Neely North, DVM
Dr. Neely North DVM became an associate veterinarian here at Berwick in June 2011 and is now an integral part of our veterinary team. Born in Nashville, TN, she attended University of Tennessee for her BA in Animal Science and Agriculture and graduated from the UTCVM in 2006. Most recently she is in the final steps of receiving her certification in Acupuncture from the Chi Institute and has brought the clinic leaps and bounds forward in the area of alternative medicine. When asked why she pursued her chosen career, she will tell you that she wanted her "vocation" to be like a "vacation" and there is no better job - she first wanted to be a vet at age seven and never changed her mind! Her canine family consists of Splinter and Cora, rescued Australian Shepherds, and Maverick, a retired therapy dog. When she isn't attending here at Berwick, she loves doing yoga, traveling, running, competing in Triathlons, gardening, and anything that involves being outside.
