In times of sickness and distress, our veterinarians will compassionately evaluate your pet’s overall health, speak with you and your family regarding your pet’s overall quality of life, prognosis for improvement, their current and projected pain and comfort levels, and then guide you through your decisions to provide at-home palliative care if you are able to do so. If and when your family is ready to say goodbye, our staff will provide a peaceful environment in our hospital for your pet to cross the Rainbow Bridge without stress or pain and to have your family all together in the final moments. Lots of cuddles, kisses, and a private setting help ease the pain of letting go. We can also discuss alternative options in-office or refer to an in-home care option for end-of-life care.
Our staff can lovingly create a clay paw print as a keepsake for families saying goodbye. We work with Savannah Pet Cemetery or Fox & Weeks for aftercare services. The best way to feel at ease about your pet’s care is to schedule a Quality of Life Evaluation Appointment so that you can have all your questions answered and feel comforted in knowing that you are giving your furry family member the care they need and deserve through every stage of life.
